A 10-Second Strategy That Changes Every Hard Conversation with Your Team

Hi, Reader,

Every manager faces those moments of hard conversations they know they have to have but wish they didn’t.

Before you sit down with an employee to talk about performance, behavior, or boundaries, there are a few steps that make all the difference:

  1. Lead with curiosity. Go in to understand, not just to be heard.
  2. Be clear about why you’re meeting. Ambiguity creates anxiety, for both of you.
  3. Ask open-ended questions. It helps your employees share their perspective instead of shutting down.
  4. Listen more than you speak. Most people want to feel seen and understood before they’re ready to change.

These small changes can totally change how a hard conversation turns out.

🎥 I made a quick 10-second short breaking down this strategy. Check it out here → link

However… knowing what to do and feeling confident enough to do it are two different things.

That’s where I come in.

I help managers like you turn anxious, uncomfortable conversations into moments of growth, for you and your team.

If you’ve been putting off a conversation because you’re worried about how it might go, let’s change that.
