Your Body Speaks Lauder Than Your Words

Hey there, Reader,

Most of what we “say” in a conversation isn’t even spoken.

Research shows that 70% of communication is nonverbal.

That means your posture, facial expressions, and tone of voice might be sending messages before you even open your mouth.

Have you ever noticed how, in a hard conversation, your arms cross, your shoulders tighten, or your voice shifts?

Your body reacts instinctively, and the other person picks up on it—even if you don’t realize it.

Next time you’re facing a hard conversation, try this:

Uncross your arms – Staying open physically helps you stay open mentally.

Watch your tone – Your words might be neutral, but does your voice sound defensive?

Lean in slightly – It signals engagement instead of avoidance.

Challenge for this week: Pay attention to what your body is saying in your next tricky conversation. Small changes can make a huge difference in how your message is received.

I break this down even more in today’s video— 🎥 Video Link

I’d love to hear from you—what’s the biggest body language habit you’ve noticed in yourself during tough conversations?
